LONG BEACH, CA –SWANA recognizes Kelli’s dedication to the resource management industry and her impact on the SWANA Sustainable Materials Management (SMM) Technical Division as the YP Representative. In a letter from Hailey Tatum, the YP Representative on the SWANA Board of Directors and Chair of the Annual Award Program, Ms. Tatum states, “You continually demonstrate your commitment to enhancing this industry towards sustainable solutions. We value your loyalty to the SWANA YPs and are delighted to honor your leadership with this award.”
The review committee was so impressed that they also acknowledged Kelli’s achievements with a Certificate of Excellence in the Innovation Category. SWANA will formerly recognize Kelli during WasteCon in October.

It is amazing! I remember when I was first interviewed, and I was doing research on SCS and saw that Vidhya Viswanathan had just been awarded a Waste360 40 under 40; that made me love the company even more because I saw women being recognized by the industry and the company.
Michelle Leonard is the driving force behind my involvement in SWANA, and I appreciate her support in my professional development.
