Kevin Green and Tony Maggio to lead Long Beach, Las Vegas, and San Diego operations
Long Beach, CA and San Diego, CA — SCS Engineers has promoted Julio Nuno to Southwest Environmental Services Director and Kevin Green to Environmental Services Director, Long Beach and Las Vegas. Both will be based in the Long Beach office. Tony Maggio is now the manager of SCS’s San Diego office.
In his new role, Nuno oversees environmental services in the southwest, including offices in California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah and New Mexico, as well as internationally in Mexico. He provides leadership and technical/administrative support for group leaders and staff and ensures that projects are completed in accordance with SCS’s standards. Service lines include; environmental due diligence, brownfield investigation and remediation, and regulatory compliance. Nuno has more than 32 years of relevant experience, all with SCS.
Green manages the Long Beach and Las Vegas offices. In addition to managing his projects and clients, he manages the environmental professionals, technicians and administrative personnel in each office. He also allocates resources for business development and marketing, proposals, qualifications, project staffing and management, and coordinates activities with other offices and divisions within SCS.
Maggio works with SCS Vice President, Dan Johnson, to manage the San Diego office’s diverse environmental practice including brownfields, Phase I and Phase II site investigation, leaking underground storage tanks, as well as water resource and supply, and stormwater. Maggio specializes in assessment and compliance audits in Mexico and Latin America and will continue to manage that practice.
