LEMON GROVE, CA and SAN JACINTO, CA – SCS Engineers has been contracted to provide environmental due diligence consulting with the City of Lemon Grove and Mt. San Jacinto Community College District (MSJC).
SCS will provide Hazardous Materials Study services to MSJC, as well as various facility improvement projects to conduct site investigations, determine hazardous materials on the project site, and prepare reports on an as-needed basis.
For the City of Lemon Grove, SCS is one of two firms pre-qualified for future environmental consulting services over the next five years. SCS will provide environmental consulting for projects in the preliminary engineering phase and construction document phase, as well as construction support. SCS is continuing its work and relationship with the City, spanning a number of years and including important projects such as the Promenade.
“Pre-qualifying consultant teams greatly speeds the process,” said Dan Johnson, Vice President at SCS. “The City of Lemon Grove and Mt. San Jacinto College will be able to start and complete projects quickly, and cost effectively.”
SCS, working with CityMark Development, also provides environmental due diligence services for Celsius Residential development, an 84-unit multifamily rental project in Lemon Grove. The project including a two-story lobby, rooftop deck, fitness center, and many amenities is expected to be completed in mid-2016.
