IMPERIAL, CA. — SCS Engineers will environmentally assess and conduct the remediation necessary to transform a former gas station in the City of Imperial, into a renewed site for a senior living facility. The developer of the facility is R. D. Brown Company.
SCS Engineers will conduct groundwater testing, soil excavation and thermal treatment of the excavated soil, as well as monitor groundwater and soil vapor at the site, located at 307 and 321 North Imperial Avenue.
“The vacant lot is a blight on the community,” said Richard Brown, R. D. Brown Company President. “The work SCS Engineers is doing will make it possible for the City of Imperial to redevelop this property and help revitalize the area, improve the environment, and bring jobs to the community.”
