DESIGN-BUILD SERVICES
Facility Design After feasibility has been established for a specific project, SCS® provides design-build services, or detailed construction plans/specifications and construction/operational assistance. Typical tasks include: Schematic process flow and hydraulic design Collection well field design, including plan and profile, and details of wells, headers, condensate traps, valving, and access Processing plant civil, mechanical, and electrical design Regulatory agency approval and permit acquisition Construction specifications and bid documents Construction review Start-up and adjustment (plant shakedown). Construction SCS Field Services constructs LFG extraction facilities and performs the following tasks for the construction of LFG recovery facilities: Construction/installation of extraction well field components (wells, controls, headers, condensate drains) Major repair and upgrading of existing systems Construction management Construction inspection Plan, specification, bid document, and cost estimate review Monitoring, Operation, and Maintenance SCS Field Services provides start-up and on-going operation and maintenance services for LFG recovery, including: Start-up, balancing, and adjustment of recovery wells Maintenance and repair of recovery wells, appurtenant valving and metering, header lines, including condensation drains, access manholes, etc. Replacement of recovery wells and condensate drains as necessary Maintenance of site grades to prevent on-site ponding of rain and irrigation runoff Performance monitoring of well field; subsequent adjustment and rebalancing.
